Applied Geophysics (M.Sc.)

The two-year Joint Master’s programme in Applied Geophysics offered jointly between RWTH Aachen, TU Delft and ETH Zurich. It combines the strengths and complementary specializations of three of Europe’s leading science and technology institutions in the field of geophysics. The Master’s program’s instruction language is English. It offers a high-quality education as well as working as part of an international team. Furthermore, the students have the opportunity to experience culture and lifestyle in three exiting cities in the heart of Europe.

Graduates will acquire the skills to solve complex geophysical issues through a combination of study and research. Through the conjunction of voluntary and mandatory modules as well as different specialization areas, each student has the opportunity to gain specific skills and detailed knowledge in his area of interest. They are therefore perfectly prepared for the international job market in the field of hydrocarbon exploration and -management, environmental and engineering geophysics, and also a diverse range of other professional fields.
