The geoscientific course of study “Georesources Management” provides beside scientific basics (mathematics, physics, chemistry), space-time connections of complex systems. It offers a unique feature with interdisciplinary training in economics and law. The course of study originates in geology and mineralogy and deals with resources and complex processes of the earth. Besides the sphere of activity, the course of study can be distinguished from “Applied Geography” by specific geoscientific content. On the contrary, the geoscientific content is even more distinct in the degree course “Applied Earth Sciences”. The Master´s degree programs “Georesource Management”, “Applied Earth Sciences” and “Applied Geophysics” are non-consecutive courses in a bachelor´s degree in applied Earth Sciences or Georesource Management.
