Admission Requirements

  • Interest in nature (mathematics, chemistry, physics) geoscientific and technical tasks
  • Good mathematical, computer and language skills
  • Willingness to work with the computer, in the laboratory, on construction sites, and in mines, partly under extreme conditions in structurally weak areas
  • Experimental skills
  • Good health condition
  • German speaking and writing skills at a C1 level according to the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages”. Further information

German. Few lectures are taught in English.

Costs

In addition to the regular semester fees you should calculate around 500 Euros per year for field courses.

Mobility

The realisation of semesters abroad and practical semesters are strongly recommended. There are so called “Mobility modules” available for the appreciation of achievements abroad.
