Applied Geography (M.Sc.)

What do geographers deal with?

Geography deals with the earth's surface in its spatial differentiation and human activities in its physical and social environment. It records and explains the factors and processes that determine the structure and dynamics of natural, economic and social, spatial systems. These phenomena and processes are analysed both individually and synthetically, i.e. in their context as components of human-environment systems with complex interactions. Physical Geography focuses primarily on scientific research approaches and methods, while Anthropogeography works from an economic and social science perspective.
