Admission Requirements

  • Interest in nature (mathematics, chemistry, physics) geoscientific and technical tasks
  • Good mathematics, computer and language skills
  • Willingness to work at the computer, in the laboratory, on construction sites and in mines, partly under extreme conditions in structurally weak areas
  • Experimental skills
  • Good health condition

Language

German. Only a few lectures are taught in English.

Costs

In addition to regular semester costs, around 500 euro per year for field work.

Mobility

The realization of semesters abroad respectively practical semesters is strongly recommended.

First semester program

Orientation events take place one week before the start of lectures

Preliminary courses

Participation in the preliminary courses in mathematics, chemistry and physics is strongly recommended.
